Lost.. If found, Please Return...

...to Kirstin.

One stitchy mojo.

*sigh*

I've put it down somewhere and I just can't remember where I left it...

A bit like my car keys or my wallet or, occasionally, the Lilybug's glasses - she's a monkey for taking them off and then forgetting where she put 'em.

So, if anyone knows where I've left my mojo, please let me know...

I think it was the frog infestation a couple of weeks back.  I hate frogging.  I almost never do it.

I'd really like to start something new but if I do that, I know I'll never finish my other WIP's.

So, I'll just keep looking.  That mojo's got to be around here somewhere... maybe under the cushions on the couch with a couple of stray needles...

  1. I know the feeling. Usually the only way I get it back is really needing to finish something or starting something new. See if you can fine something small and easy that you love. It finishes quick and by then you have your mojo back and if it is easy (few color changes, no confetti) there is rarely frogging involved). Good Luck!

  2. I think I've found a little something in the couple of hours since I posted, Rose :D Fingers are feeling a little twitchy so perhaps the missing mojo is not too far away after all!

  3. Do you have something that's close to finished, or at least over half done? Sometimes thinking about those projects gets me in the mood to grab a needle and get them closer to the finish line. :)

  4. I've got several things close to done Rahenna.. just can't seem to get moving on anything... I know if I just pick up a needle and start, I'll be fine. I just can't get motivated to get off the 'puter and move the three steps to my stitching seat... it's all there, ready and waiting.

Man, I sound pathetic, even to myself! Right. That's it. Tonight, I WILL stitch. I start work in five minutes. Will be done in about three hours. Once the kids are in bed, it's stitching time.

  5. I'm so sorry your mojo is gone. But it will return eventually. Maybe on it's own time, rather than yours, but it WILL come back eventually! Maybe try some window shopping to encourage stitchy thoughts. Or you could try the strand a day method. Cut short lengths and put in one length per day. It's not much, fifteen minutes tops, but sometimes it helps!
